FOR YOUR PERUSAL, here are some of our typical contract details. Please be aware this is for reference only and does not constitute any agreement suggested or pending.
"Prices quoted are from 8:00 p.m. - 1:00 a.m. unless otherwise noted.
Prices are based on a 5-hour period (usually 8pm - 1am) in Durham Region.
Events outside of Durham Region must be booked for 7 hours. (6pm - 1am)
The deposit can be made by cheque payable to "Alan Majewski".
Please note: All song choices shall be remitted to AJ's Custom Sound no later than 30 days prior to the wedding. This allows ample time to acquire any songs that might not be in AJ's Custom Sound's library of music.
After 30 days prior to the wedding, the Bride and Groom may be responsible for bringing the actual songs (in CD format only) to the wedding if they are not in the music library of AJ's Custom Sound.
If the wedding or function is in Durham Region, the sound system can be set up in the afternoon as a complimentary service to the Bride and Groom so as not to disrupt your dinner guests. The DJ and equipment are for hire as a package. The sound and lighting equipment and CD's are not to be touched or operated without AJ's Custom Sound present. This specifically relates to speeches, announcements or dinner/cocktail music. Please make sure that your hall provides a microphone and P.A. system for your speeches.
AJ's Custom Sound can provide equipment for dinner/cocktail hour music and speeches.
We can also provide music after 1am if the person responsible for the hall is agreeable, however most halls prefer that the music stop at 1am or shortly thereafter. Keep in mind that your liquor license might specifically state that the drinks will not be served after 1:00 am.
